Because diabetes is complex and requires regular care, it’s important that you get the education and motivation you need to self-manage your diabetes. That’s where a diabetes educator can help.
A CDE is a certified diabetes educator. CDEs may be your nurses, dieticians, pharmacist, podiatrist, counselors, or exercise physiologist. They may work in hospitals, clinics, diabetes centers, or private offices.
